We want to wish everyone Happy Thanksgiving! To let our staff celebrate the holiday with their families, we will be closing early at 5:00pm on Wednesday, November 23rd, and we will be closed both Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th. In last week’s paper, we listed that we would be closed on Saturday, but in order to accommodate many of our patrons who want to bring their visiting families through the new library over the weekend, we will now be open on Saturday, November 26th from 10:00am – 4:00pm. You may want to plan on attending one of our tours that day – offered at 11:00am and again at 12:00pm. We are happy that you want to show family and friends our beautiful new Springville Library!
Are you looking for some new reading ideas? The following is a list of some of our new books by popular authors:
Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand
Inheritance by Christopher Paolini
The Death Cure by James Dashner
The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks
The Christmas Wedding by James Patterson
Killing Lincoln by Bill O’Reilly
The Land of Painted Caves by Jean Auel
The Greater Journey by David McCullough
The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan
Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick

During this Thanksgiving time, we want to express our gratitude to everyone in Springville for your support during our construction and move. Thank you to the many Springville City employees who donated their time during the last minute flurry as we prepared to open. And a big “Thank You” all of our volunteers who donate countless hours in mending, shelving, sorting, and labeling books. We have been open for almost a month now, and we love our new facility and the opportunity it gives us to better serve our entire community. Whether you have already been in many times, or you are visiting for the first time, we would love to see you soon. Come and look at our Christmas decorations, explore our quiet reading nooks, attend one of our programs, stock up on some reading materials, and enjoy our calm and peaceful surroundings.
Until next week….Happy Reading!

“Not what we say about our blessings,
but how we use them,
is the true measure of our thanksgiving”
